Formally known as GBFW, we established Isla Jiu-Jitsu in March of 2023. From Guam and the Philippines, our island roots, culture, familia, and legacy are all core values that have cultivated Isla Jiu-Jitsu into the strong familia it is today.

We started Isla Jiu-Jitsu in means to building our legacy as a family. Moving our family from Guam to Washington 20 years ago to build a better life definitely was not something we had planned for, but it was an opportunity we were truly blessed with.

As a family, we are very proud of everything Isla stands for and represents. We started this site to share a little bit of our famisla with those near and far.
